WHY COME UNTO CHRIST??? CHRIST IS THE ONLY GATE TO ETERNAL LIFE!

John 10:9 I am “The Door” (to Heaven), if any enter in by Me (The Door) he shall be saved.

2 Nephi 9: 41 The Holy One IS “The Gate” HE employeth no servant there. There is NO OTHER WAY, nor Name save it be by “THE GATE” – for He cannot to be deceived, the LORD GOD is His NAME.

John 15:1-6 I AM “THE VINE” (of the whole universe), ye are the branches (on the “VINE”, you cannot bear fruit of your self ) If you look to Me (In ALL things), then you may bring forth fruit – You can do NOTHING without Me. Many wonder why they can ONLY Receive Salvation AND Eternal Life THROUGH Christ Alone.

Most LDS people think of Christ as our brother, a man just like us, who came 2000 years ago & achieved a perfect sinless life, so that he could “do” a sin-sacrifice for us and take our beatings from an angry God for us; and now He is dead and gone somewhere else to plead our cause for us and will come back one day – once we have figured out how to perfect and exalt ourselves to our own throne over a world of sinful people.

Most people think we are separate people – sent here to this telestial hell with one chance to get it all right and earn a King/Queendom of our own. This concept or teaching is NOT who Christ is, and this "self" exaltation is NOT our purpose for being here. Study the Scriptures with the express purpose to find out WHO CHRIST IS – it will surprise you what you find. And remember what Nephi said: To be carnally (physically) minded is DEATH. TO be Spiritually-minded is Life Eternal. And Paul said: “The Natural Man cannot understand the things of the Spirit, for they are as foolishness unto him.”

The Prophet Joseph said: “If you wish to be with Christ in eternity, you must put off ALL your false traditions. TPJS Page ???

D&C 93:39 That wicked one comes and takes away Truth and Light from the children of men, (because of) the traditions of the fathers.” These false concepts and ideas is what keeps us from “Knowing the ONLY TRUE GOD., and hence not being able to Re-Ceive Eternal Life – the Greatest Gift of God. – D&C 14: 7

BOTTOM LINE: John 17:3 And THIS is Life Eternal: TO KNOW THE ONLY TRUE GOD!

Romans 9:30-34;10:1-4. Christ IS and has always been the Stumbling Stone of Israel (as they sought their own righteousness through the Law, and did not look unto JehovAH and His Righteousness) Christ IS the End of the Law and IS God’s Righteousness!

***First of all, Christ is NOT just our brother and not just a man come to earth to suffer stripes for us.

WHO IS CHRIST THEN?

Alma 34: 11-12 Now there is NOT any “man” that can sacrifice his own blood which will atone for the sins of another. Therefore there can be nothing short of and INFINITE ATONEMENT (of GOD) which will suffice for the sins of the world!

Mosiah 5:15 “Christ is the Lord God Omnipotent, who created ALL things that are, and Christ IS GOD Above ALL”!

Alma 11:40 And HE shall come into the world to Redeem His People (those who Come unto Him and enter into New Covenant with Him); and He shall take upon him the Transgressions of those: who Believe on His NAME; and these are they who shall have Eternal Life, and salvation cometh to NONE else”.

Alma 7:14-16 Ye must be “born again” so ye can inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, with faith on The Lamb of God, who is mighty to save and cleanse from all unrighteousness – Worship the True and Living God

D&C 20: 17-19, 28 The Lord God, infinite and Eternal, framer of heaven and earth, created man & gave commandments to Love & Serve Him, the Only True and Living One, and He should be the Only Being they should worship and (look to Him in ALL things) Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Believe on the “NAME” of Jesus Christ and endure with faith on His Name, or ye cannot be saved.

Alma 12:15 He (Christ) has power to save everyone who believe on His “NAME”.

Isaiah 9: 6 For unto us a Child is born & His NAME shall be called WONDERFUL, THE Everlasting Father, The Mighty God.

D&C 19: 16-18 I, God, have suffered these things for ALL, that they might not suffer if they would re-pent(turn to Me), but if they will NOT repent, they must suffer even as I Which caused my Self, even GOD, the Greatest of ALL, to suffer, tremble & bleed from EVERY Pore.

John11: 25 I AM the Resurrection AND the (Eternal Life).

D&C 20: 30-31 Justification and Sanctification (& Eternal Life) comes through Jesus Christ!

Mosiah 3-5 I AM the Resurrection AND the (Eternal Life).as, & IS from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from Heaven among the children of Men and dwell in a Tabernacle of Clay, & He shall be called Christ, the Father of Heaven & earth, the Creator of ALL THINGS FROM THE BEGINNING. Salavation comes through His NAME, & even after all this they shall consider Him a man. The law of Moses availeth NOTHING, except it were through the At-ONE-ment of His Blood. Men drink damnation to their own souls, they become as little children & believe that salvation was, and is and is to come IN & Through the At-ONE-ing Blood of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent – the Spirit of the Lord God Omnipotent hath wrought a MIGHTY CHANGE “IN” us, & we are born OF HIM and have become His Sons and Daughters and the LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT may seal you His that you may have everlasting salvation AND ETERNAL LIFE through the Wisdom and Power and Justice and Mercy of HIM who created (You and) all things in heaven and Earth – WHO IS GOD ABOVE ALL!

Omni 1:26 Come unto Christ, who is the Holy ONE of Israel, & receive of His Salvation, & the power of His REDEMPTION. Yea Come unto Him, offer your whole souls as an offering unto Him, & endure unto the end. as the Lord liveth, ye will be saved.

Mosiah 13:38 God Himself shall make At-ONE-ment (reconciliation) for the sins/Iniquites of His People.

Book of Mormon INTRO: (Written) to the convincing of the Jew a& Gentile that Jesus IS THE CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting Himself unto ALL nations. Condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment seat of Christ.

2 Peter 1:3-4 . ALL THINGS that pertain to (Eternal) Life & Godliness come thru the KNOWLEDGE Of Him that called us to Glory & LIGHT

Alma 42:15 God Himself Atoneth for the sins of the World!

D&C 88: 3-13 Christ is The Comforter, the Glory of the Celestial Kingdom, The Spirit of Truth, that Light which is IN the SUN, Moon, Earth, Stars and also the Power of which ALL THINGS are made and exist.

11 And (Christ is) the Light which shineth, which giveth you Light, Him who enlighteneth your eyes, the same Light that quickeneth your understandings; 12 Which Light proceedeth forth from the Presence of God to fill the immensity of space— 13 The Light which is in All Things, which giveth (physical and Spiritual) LIFE to all things, who is the LAW by which all things are governed, and is even the Power of God who sitteth upon His throne, and Who is IN the bosom of eternity, and Who is IN the midst of All Things. (Q. Who is in the Midst of ALL THINGS? A. CHRIST!!!)

D&C 93: 2-39 2 And that I am the True Light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world; 3 And that I am IN the Father, and the Father IN Me, and the Father and I are One. 4 …the Son because I (came into) the world and made flesh my Tabernacle (Temple), and dwelt among the sons of men. 6 And John saw and bore record of the Fullness of My Glory, 7 And he bore record, saying: I saw His Glory, that He was in The Beginning, before the world was; 8 Therefore, in the beginning The “Word” was, for He was The “WORD”… 9 The Light and the Redeemer of the world; The Spirit of Truth, who came into the world, because the world was made by Him, and in Him was the Life of men and the Light of men. 10 The worlds were made by Him; men were made by Him; all things were made by Him, and through Him, and OF Him. (What does it mean that ALL the worlds were made OF Him?) See D&C 29:30

John 1:1-14 In the Beginning was THE “WORD”, And The “WORD” was with God and The “WORD” WAS GOD! All things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made that was made. IN Him was LIFE, and the Life was the Light of Men, and The “WORD” was made flesh (as The Son) and dwelt among us.

Where is Christ NOW? D&C 88:50 I (Christ) AM the True Light that is “IN” you, and you are “IN” Me, otherwise you cannot abound. (Thrive or even exist)

D&C 88:41 He (Christ) comprehendeth all things, and all things are before him, and all things are round about him; and he is above all things, and in all things, and is through all things, and is round about all things; and all things are by him, and of him, even God, forever and ever.

Colossians 1:14,27; 2:9 Christ is the (physical) Image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every Creature. For by Him and FOR Him were ALL things Created, for He is before ALL things, and BY Him ALL Things Consist. This is The Mystery of Christ, hidden for ages is: CHRIST “IN” you. “IN” Christ is the Fullness of Godhead Bodily!

Ephesians 3: 16-17; 4: 4-6 Be strengthened by His Spirit IN your inner man (Not Natural man) That Christ may dwell IN your hearts - CHRIST IS ALL, and “IN” ALL!!

John 14: 17-20 “I will always be with you – I not leave you comfortless. Know that I am IN the Father, and the ye are IN Me, and I “IN” you.

Moses 6: 59-61 By the Spirit, you are justified, and by The Blood, ye are sanctified, which maketh ALIVE All things (and people).

Acts 17: 24-28 God (Christ) made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and Earth. Neither is He to be worshipped with men’s hands, as though He needeth any thing, seeing that He giveth to ALL ‘LIFE” and breath, and ALL things. Seek the Lord Christ, for He be not far from EVERY one of us, for IN Him we LIVE and MOVE and HAVE our Being!

We must come to the inescapable fact that Christ, our Creator, has always been with us and “IN” us, and we IN HIM.

Who then are we and what is our Purpose for being here?
